About the event
Come learn about culture through an exploration of children’s picture books with a special guest host. This monthly free virtual book club is for children, mothers, educators and women who want to dive deeper into themes and concepts around race, identity and culture. Additionally, we will share a themed activity, as well as a snack idea. This children’s picture book talk is for all ages.
For December, we are celebrating Black History Month by featuring "Opal Lee and What It Means to Be Free" by Alice Faye Duncan
We will be holding a giveaway of the picture book and snacks that are featured.
The book club will be recorded so you can replay it on YouTube and share it with friends.
